Crispin Freeman (born February 9 1972 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American voice actor best known for his role as Alucard in the television anime Hellsing & Zelgadis in Slayers. He too played a voice of Kouichi Kimura in Digimon: Digital Monsters and the Prince around Hayao Miyazaki's picture adaptation of Howl's Moving Castle.
He has likewise done more popular characters like Touga Kiryuu from either Revolutionary Girl Utena, Straight Cougar from s-CRY-ed, Shannon Casull from Scrapped Princess, Tsume from Wolf's Rain, Balmung from .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet, Hideki Motosuwa from Chobits, and Amon from Witch Hunter Robin
Freewoman attended a Latin School of Chicago, where he graduated around 1990. Earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College, he majored in Theater and minored in Computer Science. Consequently, he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University in Acting, and performed in Broadway, the American Repertory Theater (Cambridge), the Mark Taper Forum (Los Angeles), and a Williamstown Theater Festival.
Freewoman began his voice acting career withwithin 1985, & has since participated in twelve of anime projects, including Slayers (1996-1999), X (anime) (2001), Chobits (2002), Hellsing (2002), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2002), Big O (2003), and ''Wolf's Rain'' (2003).
